One of the great things about my time at WWG is that the small but growing team allowed me opportunities to step into many different projects and roles supporting the marketing department and other teams. Most often, due to it’s relation to brand positioning and social marketing, I was able to work with the production department and marketing videographers/photographers. Use the button below to navigate to public video projects that I was involved in!
Web Designer
After a brief design internship I was promoted to a full time roll as Web Designer, giving me the opportunity to learn WordPress and develop professional web design skills. I did contribute to some UX/UI design on a mobile app but, my primary responsibility was to design and build a brand new public facing website and an internal web site/application. Both were completed on a timeline, meeting or exceeding all goals, including search rankings, and then my role exampded to include Social Media Management (see above) as I continued maintenence and updates on both sites as needed.

A stand-out experience:
I joined the WWG team at a time of company growth and modernization and as these things took place, consistent challenges appeared in cross-department alignment and collaboration as each team, and individual, used different tools and strategies for workflow and prioritization. I took the initiative to research and test project management software, gathering input on needs and preferences accross the company. We landed on using asana and then developed a set of guidelines for how it should be used across teams. After this was solidified, I developed and led a company-wide training for 50 people.
Design Intern
I joined the Alpha team when it was an early-stage healthcare startup. The small team had conducted research and testing to begin brand establishment. I inherited those findings and expanded on them as I designed and built a new website for the company’s next stage.
